Battle of the Books
The Battle of the Books competition is approaching very soon. I have been encouraging those students who are going to be involved in the battle at the end of the month to spend some time each day reading with their partner and discussing what is happening or has happened in each story. I have also been telling the students to reread some of the stories to refresh their memory if they have already read all of the books. Keep Reading!
Math
In math students have been working on telling time to the minute, telling time before and after the hour, estimating time, using a calendar, recording the temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, and some time was spent solving multiple-step problems.
