Informational Reports

This week in writing your child brainstormed a list of topics he/she could use to write an informational report on. Students then went to the library to check out a nonfiction book on their chosen topic so that your child can begin researching facts about their topic. Students are so excited to learn more about their chosen topic. They keep asking me when they can start writing?

Spring Break

Spring Break is upon us and it is a great time for your child to recharge for the last stretch of this school year. Whether you are traveling or enjoying some extra home time, encourage your child to play some games, read, and be active in some way. Have a well-deserved break and hopefully some needed sunshine and warmth will come our way soon. Mrs. Schneider is ready for flip flops!
