Writing

In writing our class is starting a new genre of writing called Informational Reports.  Ask your child what topic he/she has chosen to do their report on.  This week your child also learned about onomatopoeia words which are words that imitate the sound of something such as: buzz, boom, click clack, etc.

Valentine's Day

On Friday, February 12th, I will allow some time in the afternoon for students to exchange valentines with one another.  If your child chooses to bring valentines to school, please make sure that he/she brings enough valentines for everyone in our class.  We currently have 22 students in our classroom and all candy/food brought to school must be store bought.
