Writing

In writing your child continues to work on his/her realistic fiction story.  In a realistic fiction story often there are real characters, real settings, and the story can be written from a first or third person viewpoint.  As your child worked on his/her story this week, he/she was encouraged to use many verbs within their story and to even include some dialogue taking place among some of their characters.  It is so fun to watch all the writers emerge within our classroom!
