Math

In math students have been working with 3D shapes.  Throughout the week students found objects within the classroom that looked like a cylinder, a rectangular prism, a sphere, etc. Vocabulary terms discussed this week were: edges, vertices, and faces.  Ask your child to define each of these terms to you at home. It might even be fun to go on a treasure hunt at home finding various objects that look like a square pyramid, a cone, etc.
