Distance Learning Letter

Hello Families,
Our classrooms will be using SeeSaw to facilitate learning during the time away
from the school building if distance learning is put into effect. Below you will find
your directions on how to log into SeeSaw for learning. Please help your child get
logged in to their SeeSaw account.  We would like all students to be logged into
their SeeSaw Account by Tuesday, March 24th, so that we can offer
assistance to anyone who needs help logging in. We have included a separate
paper with your child’s SeeSaw login code. It is required that you login to
SeeSaw each day. We are taking attendance each day and submitting it to
the office. Here are the steps you will need to take to get your child ready:
Here are other apps we will be using:
Epic - This will be how your child will get new Book Bag books. Your child’s books
will be at their reading level. You may notice the books may be one reading level
lower than the level we are reading at school, that way they are successful at
home with you. https://www.getepic.com/sign-in

Pearson- This will be how your child completes their math homework
each day. Pearsonsuccessnet.com

Here are some important things to know:
Our classroom materials/lessons can be found on SeeSaw. We will assign
different work at the start of each week.
You will need to sign in each day, we are still taking attendance.
Thank you for being flexible. We understand that not everyone will be able
to do their school work during school hours, we will not look to see if you
were active in the account until the following day. For example, if you did
your work at 6:00 Monday night, we would check the Daily Check In on
SeeSaw Tuesday morning.

How to get in touch with us:
Please email your child’s teacher and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Here are our emails: Mrs. Schneider- schneiders@maplelake.k12.mn.us
Mrs. Skay - skayt@maplelake.k12.mn.us

Call our school number and leave a voicemail.
Mrs. Schneider- 320-963-7484
Mrs. Skay- 320-963-7471
We know getting logged in and signed up for things like this can be frustrating.
Please email any questions you have, and we will get it figured out together. We
appreciate your patience and understanding. Together we can ensure your child
continues to learn even though they are not “at school.”
